This adventure begins with booking the best camel ride tour in Dubai. But before you do that, here’s an all-inclusive guide that can help you with your preparation and selection.

The Camel Ride experience takes place in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, and includes transfers to and from your hotel or residence. Alongside a camel ride across the desert, you’ll stop for breakfast at our designated lakeside breakfast stop, see the sun take its place in the centre of the sky throughout your morning, and spot a world of wildlife in their conterraneo habitat.

We spent 10 days with Amro and his guides and confirm all the extremely positive comments. We even have the particularity of having traveled with 2 young girls, and this posed pelo problem. Amro was extremely available and responsive throughout the trip. Its guides are exemplary in professionalism and expertise. Our oldest daughter, aged 6, passionate about ancient Egypt, enjoyed this magnificent stay as much as we did.

No animal knows the desert like an Arabian Camel. Locally known as the ships of the desert, camels play a key role in Bedouin culture, and today act as an insight into the history and heritage of this way of life.

If you’ve already read my 4 days in Dubai itinerary then perhaps you’re already feeling inspired to tap on your own trip to the Dubai desert. Now, to help you make that dream reality, I’ve rounded up the best desert safaris in Dubai that you can book right now!

An excellent all-rounder tour, this desert safari takes you across the Lahbab Desert where you will experience the thrill of dune bashing. Once you’ve worked up an appetite you will be taken to the Al Khayma Desert Camp for an evening of relaxation and further activities.

Good morning,My husband and I are returning from an 8-day tour in Egypt. We hesitated between 2 local agencies, and it was finally towards Terra Trips (recommended on the backpacker's blog) that we left. Amro, the director of the agency, is the ideal contact to very easily organize a tailor-made trip to Egypt. And we were not disappointed, our individual tour went perfectly. Being picked up by the agency as soon as we got off the plane allowed us to save a lot of time obtaining the visa and going through customs. We are immediately put at ease by Amro’s friendliness and desire to do well. The stay will be just perfect: From Cairo to Abu Simbel, we fell here under the spell of the Nile: dozens of temples in an incredible state of conservation, the great thrill when we are alone visiting a tomb discovered a few weeks before (Indiana atmosphere Jones!), the discovery of the pyramids on the back of a camel (also the best way to take the most beautiful photos of the pyramids), the incredible beauty of the tombs of the Valley of the Kings (wow guaranteed!), The little-known but superb Valley of the queens that we were the only ones to visit, the temple of Luxor at night (magical), The “Agatha Christian” charm of the cruise on the Nile (I know, it’s not said but I couldn’t find a better term) , without forgetting the fabulous temple of Abu Simbel (wow too!

We were also able to visit the monuments at times chosen by Amro without tourist crowds, which makes a huge difference in the quality of the trip. Congratulations also to the guides and the boat staff. Very nice trip. Nothing changed

Car rental – If you want the freedom to explore Dubai at your own pace, then renting a car is the way to go. Just keep in mind that traffic can be pretty bad during rush hour, so you might want to avoid driving during those times.

We recommend this agency with complete confidence with special thanks to Amro the manager with whom we were in permanent contact.

For those that do not intend to participate in the dune bashing with the others, special arrangements are offered such as an attendant at the campsite to look after their needs. These attendants offer special help to the elderly and infants/children.

This desert safari combines the rush of dune bashing and sandboarding in the Dubai desert with the opportunity to experience the landscape in tranquility before the afternoon tours arrive.

After taking an informative tour through the conversation reserve you will relax at an evocatively lit Bedouin camp and immerse yourself in activities such as camel rides, henna artistry, shisha, and befriending the falcons.

It can be daunting to visit a new country, especially one filled with so much diversity and culture. This all-encompassing guide covers everything to make a Dubai trip comfortable and memorable.
